Am I the only one who thinks the first numbers posted were a lot more reasonable the the second. I doubt any weapon will have less than 1000 kills when all is said and done.

Hell, some of those numbers even a scrub like me could accomplish in a day, so there's no way someone who's really dedicated and good can't eclipse them.
But 2000 in a day? That seems far fetched to me, and I don't think any of the light weapons reached that level. Did they?
Yeah AR, HMG, CR, ScR all reached around or over 2000 a day. And most of them did not play for 23 hours straight most likely 18-20 hours average in a day.
2000 is high but in 23 hours not impossible.

I would expect every weapon winner to be over 1,000 kills. I would be shocked if even one weapon winner would have less than 1,000 kills.

But anyways if these revised numbers are true I'm pretty certain I have the flaylock locked down for the event with my 750 kills with it and will be going for a second weapon this Friday, most likely one of the smg. They also were all proto weapons vs everything else. While these are all militia weapons, and have a shorter average range than their light weapon counterparts. It is harder to kill quickly with a shorter range weapon at a lower average output. 0.02 ISK Cross
I guess that is true, I got a few things i would like to chip in but im not going to talk about my methods and tactics until the event is over.

WTF They have ways of identifying boosters and removing them from the contest. I have believe all those that win will win fair and square.

I'm not dropping names, but there are as many as 3 winners who are said to have boosted or cheated. just depends on who you ask.
